Happy Anniversary!

Today is my husband's and my anniversary.  I saw a similar card made up with this image and verse and loved it so made one the same but completely different.  LOL  Anyway just wanted to hop on here and wish Bill a very happy anniversary.  You have made me the happiest girl in the world for many  many years.  I love you more today than I did the day we got married.  So much more!  Happy anniversary my love!

Bill has to have rotator cuff surgery on the 25th of October so good thoughts would be appreciated  for him.  He is not the most patient person in the world so this will be a very long haul for him.

This cute image is a Whimsy digital image by Crissy and can be found right here!

Until next time, happy trails to you...

If the Broom Fits...

Eat Cake Graphics came out with some new stamps last week!  I couldn't wait to get my hands on them and get inky!  I colored her up, fussy cut her out  and attached her to the lamp post.    Her name is Griselda!  Isn't that a hoot?  Then I thought there should be something across the bottom so I stamped these skull flowers at the bottom!  Added some punched out bats and glittered the edges of the card and a new card was born!  And you can buy all of their stamps as either mounted or unmounted!  What a great option that is!  I hope you enjoy my little creation here and will go to check out the new stamps Holly has.

Until next time, Happy trails to you!

AUTUMN DELIGHT

Today I colored up an adorable image from StampArtDesign by Kathryne.  It is her brand new Autumn Delight found right here.  And when you look at the image, notice the two bonus images you get with it all for only $3.00!  I have been pricing wooden single stamps and sure can't find any for $3.00!  What a wonderful deal!!!  Anyway this was so much fun to color up that I forgot to mark the colors I used but they are Copics.  Then after I colored it, I mounted it on some Halloween Parade paper by Doodlebug.  I couldn't stop there though - I sprinkled on some Aged Gold Frantage and heat set it.  Such a fun card to make.  If you have not ever tried a digital image, give this one a try.  I can assure you that you will love it!  Now on to fall.  It is feeling like fall here today although yesterday felt like mid summer - humid and hot.  Loving the crisp feel of fall.  Just wish the very cold and snowy winter wouldn't follow.  So with that said, Happy fall y'all!

Until next time, Happy trails to you!

BABY GIRL!

I was invited to a baby shower recently for a friend's daughter who is making her a grandma for the first time.  She is beyond excited!  I made this cute little card to go with the gift.  You can't see it but it has plenty of sparkle on it!  This is a digital stamp that I found here.  Lia has such nice images for us to color up.  There is also an adorable baby boy image that I plan to make up as well just to have on hand.

Until next time, happy trails to you...

BEST BUDS

Whimsy Stamps came out with several new digital images on the 1st of September.  Last week I showed you a halloween girl but this week I have an adorable little guy and his puppy that Crissy Armstrong designed.  He can be found right here.  This one was a joy to color up.  I colored it with Copic markers and then went back and gave him some sparkly buttons with Stickles.  I used a scrap of paper for the background and added a chipboard lantern from Recollections.  This dog reminds me of our friend, Scott's dog, Buster.  He is such a funny guy but a great buddy to his dad.

Until next time, Happy trails to you...

Witchy Girl

How do the months fly by so fast?  Wasn't it just Memorial Day and now it is Labor Day and we are looking forward to Halloween and cooler temperatures.  And it is new digi release time at Whimsy Stamps!  I always get excited to see the new images that come out every month.  It is so hard to know which one to use first.  Since this little girl is titled Halloween Witchy Girl I thought I would give her a green tint on her face to witchy her up more!  I colored her up with my Copics  and even remembered to write them down.  I will post them at the bottom of the page. This little girl was designed by the talented Crissy Armstrong.  You owe it to yourself to check out her wonderful digi stamps.  And while you are there, check out the other designers as well.  You won't be disappointed!  I used papers from my stash and then I used the Memory Box die of the tombstones and the bats flying around her.  Well, I need to go and see what other images I need this month.  See you at the Whimsy store!

Colors used to color her are as follows:  V20, V25, E000, E00, E21, E40, E42, E44, E07, R59, R20, G000, Y28, Y17, YR68, YG13, W1, W3, W5, and W6.

Until next time, Happy trails to you!
