Easter Eggs

Aren't these eggs pretty?  I used a die from Papertrey Ink to make the eggs and then colored the background with my Copics.  The sequins are from Pretty Pink Posh.

Happy Easter to you and your families.  Stay safe if you are traveling.  And enjoy the Easter egg hunts.

Alleluia!  Christ has risen!!

I am going to enter this into the Southern Ridge Trading Company's new challenge:  http://southernchipboard.blogspot.ca/2015/04/april-challenge-anything-goes.html

Until next time...  Happy trails to you...

Easter Card

I have been making several Easter cards this week.  My friend from Minnesota was here and we were card making machines!  There were three of us playing   I mean working together.  Lynette and Georgia make great playmates!  The sun and rays are from Papertrey Ink as is the sentiment.  I hope you like this one!

Spring Means Going to the Playground!

I recently received this set of stamps from Lawn Fawn titled Let's Play.  I thought it was adorable so the first card I made was this one.  Love the spotted puppy and the bird on the swing.  I plan to enter it into the NEBUS challenge.  The grass was a punch and of course I colored everything with my Copics.

Until next time, happy trails to you...

Happy Birthday Kris!

I have a friend who had a birthday a few days ago (March 20) and I sent her this card.  She got it on time, but I forgot to post it here on time.  Anyway it was fun to color on Kraft cardstock.  This stamp is an oldie and probably retired by now.  Aren't those little cupcakes floating in her drink adorable?  I assume the drink is pink raspberry Crystal Light.  Added some sequins and a sentiment and done!

Until next time, happy trails to you...

ONLINE CARD CLASS Day 4 Homework

I am taking the new Online Card Class and have finally had a chance to make a card.  The class today was using your small dies in a new way.  I had these teeny tiny little stars and the glasses die so paired them together with some patterned paper from an old paper pack and came up with this card.  I think it is a fun one and these dies had never been used before.  I hope I can get into the craft room and make some other things from the class soon.

Until next time, Happy trails to you!!!

Two Little Fishies

In one of my stamping groups, we had to do an under the sea theme card.  I made this one from an old set from Gina K Designs.  I think these fish are adorable and they just make me laugh!  I put some google eyes on the blue one and they make me laugh more.  Silly fish!

Our weather has been amazing for the last week.  Warm temperatures and sunny skies.  How I hope it stays this way.  But I well know we could be in for yet one more big snow!

Until next time... happy trails to you

Praying For You

I have two friends with cancer and I send a card to each of them weekly.  One is a lady from my church, and the other is from VA. and I have never met her but I am a Chemo Angel and we send cards weekly to people assigned to us.  I am so blessed to have received the lady that I got as I am really sure she is going to be ok in the long run but it  is not fun to go through this stuff.  And her daughter has reached out to me and I feel I have gotten to know her.  The lady at church is such a sweet lady and always thinking of others.  Why does it always get the good ones?  Anyway this is the card I made for the lady from my church this week.  It is a new die from Simon Says Stamp and the butterflies I have had for a long time from Technique Tuesday.    Of course they  are colored with my Copics onto Neenah white cardstock.

Thanks for checking in with me.  I really appreciate all who do.  So until next time, Happy trails to you...
